The room goes dark except for the glow bleeding off both sides of the monitor, matching whatever's happening on screen in real time — an explosion flashes red, a night scene shifts to cool blue, and the light around the desk just knows. That's the trick behind this ambient LED strip: a screen-capture sensor reads the display continuously and drives flexible RGB strips to mirror it, with no manual color-matching required.
Setup takes about as long as opening the box. The self-adhesive strips press onto the back of the monitor and plug straight into a spare USB port, with adhesive backing built for a clean, lasting install rather than something that slides after a week. From there, the companion DX Light app hands over full control: switch into Music Mode to have the color react to whatever's playing, drop into Symphony Mode for a slow million-color cycle, or pick from seven dynamic lighting patterns when ambient sync isn't the vibe.
Six size options cover most single and dual-monitor setups, from a 24-inch strip up through 34-inch, plus 4-edge kits that wrap the full perimeter of the screen instead of just the sides. Each strip is rated for 10,000 hours of use, runs cool at 10W, and is CE certified, so it's built to stay running behind the monitor for years rather than needing to be replaced after a season.
